About the Artist

Hi, I'm Mel. I'm a naturalist, educator, and artist living in the Piedmont region of the United States. I've been working in Recreation and Parks since 2011, sharing my love of snakes, spiders, birds, and the outdoors with people of all ages. Before that, I got my BA in Art and Theatre at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland.
